EPIC Labs

HGTC is committed to making resources available to students related to Effective Professional and Interpersonal Communications (EPIC). The EPIC initiative emphasizes professional and interpersonal communication skills in a variety of courses throughout a student’s academic path.

Students in EPIC-designated courses are tasked with activities and assignments that have them responding to real-world and workplace scenarios. From resumes and LinkedIn pages to PowerPoint presentations and professional writing, EPIC students are engaging in tasks and honing skills essential for all career types.

The EPIC Lab at the SSTC is where students working on professional and interpersonal communication assignments can go for one-on-one tutoring. All EPIC tutors have experience in professional writing and exceptional communication skills.

To schedule a tutoring session for your EPIC assignment or any professional communication-type assignment, search for “EPIC” in Penji instead of the course. For example, if your ACC 101 class has an EPIC assignment, search for tutoring help in Penji under “EPIC” instead of “ACC 101.”
