Horry-Georgetown Technical College is pleased to announce the Graduation Ceremony for the 2020-2021 academic year will take place on May 12, 2021 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

Graduates interested in attending will need to have graduated Fall 2020 or plan to graduate Spring 2021 or Summer 2021 and have applied for graduation.
The approval to hold the event was given by the South Carolina Department of Commerce. Please note: a subsequent Executive Order by the Governor of South Carolina may potentially modify or revoke the approval of this event.

For students who have already received their diploma, but are requesting a diploma reprint because they have lost their diploma or wish to have another copy, a Diploma Replacement Request Form must be completed and submitted with a $15 fee. It will take 2-3 weeks to process the request.
How to apply for graduation
- First, confer with your academic advisor to review your progress toward program completion and determine whether you have successfully completed all courses necessary for your associate degree, diploma, or certificate. You can find your assigned academic advisor on WaveNet.
- Complete an HGTC Application for Graduation. Download the Graduation application.
- Return application to the Registrar's Office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
