Important Graduation Information:
Horry-Georgetown Technical College is pleased to announce the Graduation Ceremony for the 2019-2020 academic year will take place on October 27, 2020 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Graduates interested in attending will need to have graduated Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Summer 2020, or have applied to graduate for the Fall 2020 semester. Dates and times for ticket pick up will be communicated at a later date.
The approval to hold the event was given by the South Carolina Department of Commerce. Please note: a subsequent Executive Order by the Governor of South Carolina may potentially modify or revoke the approval of this event.
Note: Fall 2020, Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020 graduates, the ticket distribution has ended. If you were unable to pick up your tickets on the scheduled dates, the remaining graduation tickets will be available for pick up in the Registrar’s Office in Conway, Building 1100 beginning Monday, October 12, 2020. Pick up will be first-come, first-serve until all tickets have been distributed. Please plan to pick up early in the week, as the number of available tickets continues to decrease.

For students who have already received their diploma, but are requesting a diploma reprint because they have lost their diploma or wish to have another copy, a Diploma Replacement Request Form must be completed and submitted with a $15 fee. It will take 2-3 weeks to process the request.
How to apply for graduation
- First, confer with your academic advisor to review your progress toward program completion and determine whether you have successfully completed all courses necessary for your associate degree, diploma, or certificate. You can find your assigned academic advisor on WaveNet.
- Complete an HGTC Application for Graduation. Download the Graduation application.
- Return application to the Registrar's Office via email at email@example.com.
