Flex Start Classes

Horry-Georgetown Technical College offers Flex Start classes, a compressed class schedule that permits students to begin their classes later and finish on time.

Flex Start classes provide students:

  • The ability to register for classes that fit their schedule
  • Start weeks after the full semester begins and finish at the same time
  • Additional time to apply for financial aid
  • Classes that apply to traditional, transfer, and international students
