ICI Scholarships

Horry-Georgetown Technical College Presidents Culinary Scholarship

Up to (5) scholarships of $1,000 toward tuition, books and supplies will be granted to a student enrolled in a full-time course of study for the Associate's Degree Program in Culinary Arts, or Baking and Pastry Arts.

The award is renewable for one year (for a total of $2,000). Renewal is contingent on the recipient maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants must:

• Meet admission requirements
• Demonstrate financial need
• Complete the HGTC Scholarship Application
• Provide two letters of recommendation from instructors or employers
• Submit an essay of up to 400 words or a 1 minute video explaining why you feel you would be an outstanding candidate worthy of the Presidents Culinary Scholarship, and how your culinary education will contribute to you becoming a positive force in your community.

This scholarship applies to HGTC ICI Culinary Arts program for the 2022 Fall semester only. Use of scholarship requires the completion of all admissions processes and after all state and federal funds are utilized. Scholarships are non-transferable.
