ABILITYWorks is a 15-week, 2-part program that provides a structured pathway from education to employment for adults ages 18 and older who have exited/graduated high school and meet eligibility criteria for intellectual and developmental disabilities.
SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE!
Registration includes both ABILITYWorks 1: Workforce Readiness (Lecture) and ABILITYWorks 2: Workplace Learning Lab, which are required to be taken consecutively.

ABILITYWorks 1: Workforce Readiness CRN #2013
LECTURE: Part 1 of the required 15-week ABILITYWorks program introduces students to foundational workforce readiness skills through classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on training activities. The course promotes skill development, independence, and successful participation in employment. Instruction emphasizes transferable workforce competencies aligned with employer expectations. 7.500 Continuing Education Units
ABILITYWorks 2: Workplace Learning Lab CRN #3003
Part 2 of the required 15-week ABILITYWorks program. Students complete this course immediately following Workforce Readiness. LAB: The lab emphasizes real-world application of workforce skills through workplace mentoring and individualized support. The instructor provides direct coaching in community and employment settings while collaborating with employer partners to reinforce workplace expectations and support successful transition into competitive, integrated employment, including opportunities such as internships and registered apprenticeships. Note: Lab (the last 5 weeks of the program) meets on Tuesdays only.1.250 Continuing Education Units
