HGTC Foundation Announces HTC as Gala Premier Event Sponsor

(CONWAY, SC) - The Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Foundation is pleased to announce that HTC will serve as the Premier Event Sponsor for the HGTC Foundation Annual Gala being held on Saturday, March 4, 2023. This sponsorship is crucial to funding student scholarships for the HGTC community.
The Annual Gala is the major fundraising event for the year and includes an hors d'oeuvre and champagne reception, live entertainment, virtual silent auction, a delicious gourmet five-course dinner prepared by HGTC professional chef instructors and students. The event will be held at the HGTC International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach and raise funds to support the culinary programs and scholarships for students attending HGTC.

The purpose of the HGTC Foundation is to raise funds to support the programs, services and activities of HGTC, its students and employees, and to create and cultivate positive relationships between the College and the community. The HGTC Foundation invites the community to become involved as the College continues to foster its reputation as a high-quality learning and teaching institution with a student-centered environment. The community can enhance this vision with financial support for scholarships, programs, facilities, or other needs; donation of equipment or technology; mentoring students; providing internships; and service on various academic or foundation advisory boards.
The Virtual Silent Auction will take place February 17 - March 4. The virtual silent auction packages can be viewed on the HGTC Foundation Auction website. Auction items will include Chef-Catered Dinner Parties, Spa Packages, Dining & Nightlife Attractions, Travel Packages, and more.
