HGTC’s Dental Clinic Serving as a Temporary Home for Myrtle Beach Dental Associates

College one of three community partners providing space to dental practice after August fire

(Myrtle Beach) Sept. 25, 2017 -- Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s Charles F. Freeman Community Dental Clinic will serve as a temporary home for Myrtle Beach Dental Associates while the practice rebuilds its office after a fire.

Myrtle Beach Dental Associates will see patients at HGTC on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and will use the same state-of-the-art equipment that students train on. Myrtle Beach Dental Associates will also serve patients from Carolina Forest Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Conway on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from Keith A. Berry Endodontics in Myrtle Beach Monday through Thursday.

“We are so grateful to all of our community partners for stepping up to help our practice, and will forever remember their generosity,” said Dr. John Iseman. “The Myrtle Beach fire, police and utility services departments have been wonderful as we navigated the aftermath of the fire. We have been blown away by the eagerness of our family, friends, patients, dental colleagues, church members, and even strangers that have offered time, energy, encouragement, and prayer to help us rebuild.”

“We are pleased to open our doors to the staff at Myrtle Beach Dental Associates in their time of need,” said Christy Bailey, AVP for Academic Affairs and Dean of Allied Health Science at HGTC. “Dr. Iseman and his staff have always been supportive of our students, and we look forward to an even closer working relationship while they rebuild their practice.”

Horry-Georgetown Technical College offers a variety of dental services to the community through its two public clinics, which allow HGTC to provide quality dental care at an affordable price. HGTC’s dental clinics are located at 3501 Pampas Drive in Myrtle Beach.

Myrtle Beach Dental Associates has offered quality, family-oriented dental care to the Grand Strand community since 1989.
