Annual Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign
Why is faculty and staff participation so important? Faculty and staff giving demonstrates to the students how deeply invested you are in them and their success. When Neyle and Dr. Fore visit with and speak to our community’s corporations and individual donors, decision makers look at employee giving rates as an indicator of commitment and success.
Historically around 35 - 40% of HGTC faculty and staff contribute each year. The Foundation’s goal for 2017-18 is to raise awareness about the Foundation and hopefully increase the participation rate to 75%. We can only do this with your support and involvement.
We want you to know that no gift is too small. You can choose exactly where you want your money to go, whether to scholarships, building funds, text book purchases, emergency student loan fund, non-state supported travel, equipment and supply purchases for your department, faculty and staff recognition award, etc. Gifts can be either a one-time donation or monthly payroll deductions. Reminder: The Horry-Georgetown Technical College Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and qualifies as a charitable organization.
