Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) will host an engaging Leadership Development Event on Friday, April 17, 2026, bringing together influential leaders from across the region to share their experiences, insights, and strategies for making a meaningful impact in their communities and professions.
The event will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Burroughs & Chapin Auditorium on the Conway Campus, located at 2050 U.S. Highway 501 East, on the back side of Building 1100B.
Designed to inspire students, employees, and community members, the panel discussion will explore leadership journeys, address real-world challenges facing today’s communities, and highlight opportunities for personal and professional growth.
“This event reflects Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s commitment to developing strong, thoughtful leaders who are prepared to make a difference,” said Dr. Marilyn “Murph” Fore, president of HGTC. “By connecting our students and community with accomplished leaders, we are creating meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and lead with purpose.”
The featured panel includes:
- Terry Dingle, vice president of human resources and organizational development, Florence-Darlington Technical College
- Natasha Hanna, attorney and founder, Natasha Hanna Law
- Robert P. Hucks II, executive vice president and chief banking officer, Coastal Carolina National Bank, and vice chair, HGTC Area Commission
- Carla Schuessler, South Carolina House of Representatives, District 61, and director of business development, G3 Engineering & Surveying
Attendees will gain valuable perspectives on leadership in public service, business, law, education, and community engagement. The event is open to students, employees, and community members interested in strengthening their leadership skills and expanding their professional networks.
