HGTC Invites Future Chefs to Culinary Arts Open House at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach
Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) invites the community to attend a Culinary Arts Open House on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach, located on the College’s Grand Strand Campus.
This exciting event offers prospective students and food enthusiasts an inside look at the world of culinary, baking and pastry, and hospitality careers. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet HGTC’s award-winning chef instructors and industry professionals.
- Tour state-of-the-art teaching kitchens and classrooms inside the renowned International Culinary Institute.
- Learn about HGTC’s degree programs, including Culinary Arts Technology, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
- Ask questions and gain insider insights into how to turn a love of food, creativity, and service into a rewarding career.
“The Culinary Arts Open House is a great opportunity for anyone curious about the culinary and hospitality industries to experience what makes HGTC’s programs so special,” said HGTC Executive Director of the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach, Chef Joe Bonaparte. “Prospective students will see firsthand the level of training and hands-on experience our graduates receive in our world-class facilities.”
