HGTC Hosts Paralegal Open House on Grand Strand Campus

Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) invites prospective students and community members to attend a Paralegal Open House on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. The event will be held on HGTC’s Grand Strand Campus at 3639 Pampas Drive, Myrtle Beach, in the Legal Studies Courtroom/Teaching Lab located in Building 300, Room 308.

The open house is designed for anyone interested in pursuing a career in law or legal services. Participants will have the opportunity to explore HGTC’s Paralegal and Paralegal Specialist programs, meet instructors and local legal professionals, and learn how to begin a rewarding career as an essential part of the legal system.

Attendees will have the chance to:
• Explore HGTC’s Paralegal and Paralegal Specialist programs.
• Meet instructors and legal professionals.
• Learn how to launch a successful legal career.
• Discover how to make a difference in the legal community.

“This event is a great opportunity for future paralegals to connect with our faculty and local professionals, ask questions, and see firsthand how HGTC’s programs prepare graduates to make an immediate impact in the legal field,” said HGTC President Dr. Marilyn “Murph” Fore.
