Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) proudly announces that Tim Wall, HGTC Procurement Specialist, has been named the 2025 Temporary Staff of the Year, an honor presented during the College’s recent All-College Meeting.
Since joining HGTC in 2021, Wall has earned a reputation for his dedication, reliability, and willingness to go above and beyond in service to the College. Known for arriving on campus at 6:30 a.m. sharp each morning, Wall tackles each day with precision, patience, and a smile. His expertise spans a wide range of responsibilities, from travel arrangements and car rentals to coordinating welding gas, maintenance supplies, and janitorial needs.
Colleagues describe him as approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a hand. Whether providing guidance through the complexities of procurement or stepping in to resolve unexpected challenges, Wall has become an indispensable part of the team. His attention to detail and consistent positive attitude has left a lasting impact across the College community.
“Tim exemplifies the spirit of service and dedication that makes HGTC such a special place,” said Dr. Marilyn “Murph” Fore, president of HGTC. “His reliability, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond inspire all of us. We are so grateful to have Tim as part of our HGTC family.”
Wall expressed his appreciation for the recognition, stating, “It’s an honor to receive this award, but I couldn’t do it without the support of my colleagues. I truly enjoy being part of this team and contributing to the success of the College each day.”
