The Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Foundation is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated event, "Flights & Bites," set to take place on October 17, 2024, at 6 p.m. This extraordinary evening will be filled with culinary delights and opportunities for philanthropy, all in support of higher education.
Hosted at the HGTC International Culinary Institute on the HGTC Grand Strand Campus in Myrtle Beach, "Flights & Bites" will bring together food lovers, community members, and industry professionals for an unforgettable experience. Attendees will savor a diverse selection of gourmet dishes and expertly curated beverage pairings, prepared by the talented students and faculty of HGTC's renowned Culinary Arts program.
The event not only showcases the artistry and passion of the culinary world but also supports the HGTC Foundation's mission to provide educational opportunities and scholarships for deserving students. By participating in "Flights & Bites," guests will indulge in exceptional culinary creations while contributing to the education and growth of aspiring culinary professionals.
This year's "Flights & Bites" will feature live entertainment and unique tasting areas, each offering a distinct culinary experience:
- Beer & Bar-B-Que
- Red Wine Room
- White Wine Room
- Dessert Room
Each area will present a gourmet bite expertly paired with a carefully selected flight, creating a symphony of flavors for attendees to enjoy.
