HGTC criminal justice student named to Phi Theta Kappa All-State Team

The South Carolina Technical College System held a recognition ceremony recently for students named to Phi Theta Kappa’s South Carolina Academic All-State Team. Eric Kalkbrenner represented HGTC. Eric was joined by his parents and President Neyle Wilson.

A special thank you to the SC representatives that came by to discuss HGTC’s Advanced Manufacturing programs and the progress of the new Advanced Manufacturing Center that will be built in Conway (Fall of 2016) and a proposed center for Georgetown County. HGTC student Eddie Burris and Professor Brandon Haselden spoke with the representatives about the industry wide need for programs such as Machine Tool/CNC, Advanced Welding, Robotics and Mechatronics.
