  Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two-year community/technical college that offers more than 70 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor's degree.

8th annual Engineering Day will be held April 20

8th annual Engineering Day will be held April 20

Engineering students Horry-Georgetown Technical College invites high school students,parents, teachers, designers and construction industry representatives to the Conway Campus from 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.on Wed., Apr. 20, for the 8th Annual Engineering Day. Design competitions will encompass several areas, including autoCAD, concrete, bridge and robotics. Weather permitting, most events will be outdoors in front of Building 300. Some events will be held in engineering technology laboratories inside Building 300.

The event is free and open to the public. Anyone with questions may contact Prof. David Lewis.
