HGTC Foundation Receives Grant from McLeod Health for New Nursing and Health Sciences Institute

The Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Foundation is proud to announce the receipt of a generous $375,000 grant for the establishment of the new Nursing and Health Sciences Institute on the Grand Strand Campus.  This substantial contribution, provided by McLeod Health, exemplifies a shared commitment to fostering a well-prepared healthcare workforce and enhancing the overall health of the community.

"By investing in the nursing and health science programs, we're not only ensuring high-quality graduates but also contributing to the overall health and vitality of our community."

The grant from McLeod Health will play a pivotal role in advancing nursing and allied health education at HGTC, empowering students to excel in their studies and pursue meaningful careers in healthcare. This substantial investment reflects McLeod's dedication to supporting educational initiatives that have a lasting impact on the community.
