Continuing Student Advising

As a continuing student at HGTC, you are a member of an exceptional group who has decided that education is an important factor in achieving your future goals. HGTC faculty and advisors are here to assist you in making sure that those goals become a reality. As you follow the courses in your Academic Plan, be sure to utilize your Faculty Advisor as a valuable resource to aid in the effective and most efficient completion of your program of study.

Faculty Advisors (FA)

Faculty Advisors are here to assist you as you progress through your degree, an FA within your program of study uses the information in your MAP to ensure that your goals are being met and that you are taking advantage of all of the services that the college has to offer.

FAs are available during their office hours and by appointment. They meet with you and make adjustments to your MAP, as needed.
