Resume and Cover Letters

Crafting a strong resume and cover letter is a vital step in your professional development, and we’re here to support you throughout the process.

Before scheduling an appointment, we encourage you to utilize these resources. We have provided comprehensive resume and cover letter tips and examples to help guide you in creating an effective document that highlights your skills and experiences.

If after reviewing these resources and drafting your resume or cover letter you still require assistance with the layout or content, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to schedule an appointment by emailing career@hgtc.edu. Repeated reviews can consume valuable time that takes away from assisting other students and fulfilling other departmental responsibilities. Therefore, we kindly ask students to take the feedback provided during the review seriously and make the suggested revisions independently.
