Culinarian - Certificate

If you enjoy working with food, HCTC’s Culinarian Certificate program will prepare you for a challenging career in all facets of the hospitality industry. Culinary artists are responsible for skillfully preparing meals that are as pleasing to the palate as they are to the eye. Culinarians must have a knowledge of the science of food, as well as an understanding of diet and nutrition.

Career Outlook

Skilled cooks with an eye for aesthetics are in high demand these days.  Discriminating diners enjoy food that looks as good as it tastes and it must be nutritious, too.  HGTC's Culinarian Certificate graduates will find employment in the following areas:
