Campus Construction Updates
Relax , it’s only growth. Yes, parking conditions across the Conway Campus may tempt you to lose your cool this fall, but think of it as the generosity of strangers giving us money to renovate older buildings and carve new roads. “The Education Penny” Sales Tax and other local funds have provided an opportunity for us to build a perimeter road and renovate Buildings 100, 200 and 1000.
Students and campus visitors are encouraged to stay up to date of changes. Plan ahead for potential changes in access and consider alternative paths.
2013 Conway Campus Construction Project Updates:
August 22, 2013- Parking Areas & will be fenced off from Monday, September 2 until Monday, November 2 for renovations to the Loop Road and parking areas.
July 22, 2013 - The attached map shows the limits of new construction fencing when students return for Fall classes. Fencing will enclose old buildings 300 and 400 to accommodate the second phase of our infrastructure upgrades.
Activities in this area will include demolition of the buildings, expanding the detention pond and constructing a new parking lot. Fencing will also enclose buildings 100/200 and 1000 as we begin recladding the exterior envelope. Please note the building access areas shown in red. We will be updating this map as construction fencing is relocated.
