Annual Enrollment is October 1-31, 2012. Any changes an employee makes go into effect January 1, 2013.

What can an employee do during Annual Enrollment?

 

Active Employees

Health

-Can switch health plans
-Cannot enroll in health plan
-Cannot add or drop dependents
-Cannot cancel coverage (unless enrolled in CIGNA)

Vision

-Can enroll 
-Can add dependents (documentation required for new dependents)
-Can drop dependents (change level of coverage)
-Can cancel coverage

Optional Life

-Can cancel or decrease coverage
-Can enroll in or increase by $50,000 without medical coverage

Dependent Life Spouse

-Can cancel or decrease coverage 

MoneyPlu$

-Can enroll in or cancel Pre-Tax Premium Feature
-Can enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts
-If currently enrolled in MoneyPlu$ Medical Spending Account or Dependent Care Spending Account, you must re-enroll to continue accounts for next year. This can be done at www.myfbmc.com


Retirees, COBRA, and Survivors

Health 

-Can switch health plans
-Cannot enroll in health plans
-Cannot add or drop dependents
-Cannot cancel coverage unless:
-Enrolled in CIGNA
-Enrolled in BlueChoice as retiree and Medicare-primary (paper NOE requried)

Vision

-Can enroll
-Can add dependents (documentation required for new dependents)
-Can drop dependents (change level of coverage)
-Can cancel coverage
